Caroline Casselman has helped Canadian organizations develop and enhance their profiles as trusted and responsible business leaders for over 25 years.
Prior to launching her own company, Caroline was a Vice President of Public Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility for Canadian Tire Corporation – one of Canada’s best known and most trusted retailers – and she led the public affairs team at international miner Falconbridge Limited, a global leader in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Caroline’s leadership activities include Chairing the Public Affairs Committee of the Mining Association of Canada and spearheading its Towards Sustainable Mining Initiative; being President and Chair of the Board of Directors of Humewood House Association, dedicated to helping young women build safe and stable lives for themselves and their children; and being a founding member of Nature Canada’s Women for Nature initiative. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
A communications professional with expertise in sustainability matters, Caroline specializes in reputation and stakeholder communications and writing services across all media platforms for annual, ESG, integrated, climate, reputation and sustainability disclosures.
She has a comprehensive understanding of the reputational challenges and opportunities facing organizations including environmental stewardship, stakeholder and aboriginal relations, public consultations, ethical sourcing, labour and employee relations, health and safety, and community investment.
